I didn’t make it to the woods yesterday, Home ownership sometimes means that household repairs come as priority.
Today however we were able to get out to the woods. Today I went out to another stand. It was a buitiful night and the view was glorious… but alas no animals wanted to be seen.
As a new(ish) hunter in a wooded hunting property I have to say one of my absolute favorite tools is my Thermal viewer. Many hunters think they are only for seeing or identifying animals in low light situations. But I have learned to take my thermal device with me. It has helped me learn to recognize the really well camouflaged animals in the woods. But even with the help of my Thermal device, nothing wanted to be seen by me. So that’s what it was.
