So we had a minor crisis in the house and missed Germany’s opening day for the buck season. Plumber was out yesterday and we were able to get out to the woods today. Sitting at the bottom of a valley today. The view was great and it was a pleasant evening to sit in the woods

For the most port it was quiet. From this seat hubby harvested a pig last week, so I was hoping for both a young Roe deer, or a wild boar. I am not fussy. It’s all tasty.

around 7:30 a(nother) pregnant roe deer came in. She came down the valley across the ravine and then traveled up the ravine almost out of sight. She came up again on my side and I was so focused watching her that I nearly missed the yearling that came down the same area but straight back up and immediately out of my line of sight.

Just before dark a fox came out. I tried to photograph him, but every time I got my camera ready to take a picture, he stepped back behind a tree.
