Back to the ravine today, there has been a fair amount of activity here the past few times we have been out. It’s crazy loud in the woods tonight the birds are chirping like crazy.
It was a fairly uneventful night. Watched a Mouse buzzard stare at the field for a while looking for a snack. since they sit really still on top of a post it was not terribly exciting.
After a short while a had a doe cross in front of me, she came down the ravine from the far side, traveled up a little ways and came up again on my side just right of my stand. I was focused on her and watching her even though she wasn’t open and nearly missed a young doe cross the same path down but straight back up on the left of my stand. No shooting opportunity so I guess it’ll walk for another day.
